Official: Uefa Announce Finalists For UEFA Men’s Player Of The Year Award

Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus & Portugal) Uefa have announced the three finalists for the Uefa Men’s Player of the Year award, but Liverpool’s African duo of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah were snubbed. Perennial contenders Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have both been included among the finalists, alongside Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk. Having already won the Uefa Goal of the Season award, Messi is nominated after scoring 51 goals last for Barcelona last season as the club went on to claim a domestic double.
