It's been an up and down season for Chelsea and Frank Lampard.

After failing to win three of their opening four games in the Premier League prior to the international break, the Blues enjoyed a 5-2 win over Wolves last weekend. But they failed to capitalise on that win as they were beaten 1-0 by Valencia in the Champions League on Tuesday night.  The Blues don't have much time to reflect on the game against the La Liga outfit as they're back in action on Sunday afternoon.

It's the return of Premier League football as Chelsea host league leaders Liverpool who are also coming off a shock 2-0 loss against Napoli in midweek. With that said, here's all the news from around Stamford Bridge over the past 24 hours. Mason Mount and N'Golo Kante have a chance of featuring for Chelsea against Liverpool, Frank Lampard has said. "He has got a chance. We saw the image of the tackle made it look bad," Lampard said about Mount during his pre-match press conference . "We are trying to get him moving today, I will have to make the call before the game.

"His attitude is good so he will give everything to play. "There was a lot of swelling, didn’t look the best, if there is proper damage you can't do much. We won’t take any risks, there is a bigger picture, we will do our best."

It's mixed news on the injury front for the Reds. Midfielder Naby Keita is set to return to full training with the first team and could be in contention to make the squad for the trip to the capital. However, the league leaders are set to be without Alisson Becker once again.

"Alisson making big progress," Klopp added. "A proper session yesterday with John Achterberg. Not in team training yet, and we take it day by day.

"We will see. Too early to say. Medical department will tell me."
